【大阪・関西万博 カタール館】水の上にそびえる旗ポールを施工しました！[QATAR Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai – A Flagpole Floating on Water]

2025年大阪・関西万博にて、カタール館の旗ポール設置工事を担当いたしました。
今回の工事は一味違います…なんと「水の中」に施工するという、非常に難易度の高いご依頼でした！
We were honored to install a flagpole at the Qatar Pavilion for Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai.
What made this project unique? The flagpole was to be built inside a water feature, requiring extra care and precision.

■水を抜くところからスタート！
■Draining the Pool First

施工はまず水抜きから。これが一番大変で時間のかかる工程でした。
すべての水を排水した後、ケミカルアンカーを使うために水分を完全に除去します。夏場のため硬化が早く、スピードと正確さが求められました。
We started by draining the water, which was the most time-consuming part of the job.
After that, we had to completely dry the area to prepare for chemical anchoring.
With the summer heat accelerating the curing process, we had to act quickly and carefully.

■夜間作業で集中！
■Nighttime Precision Work

静けさの中、慎重にコア抜き・アンカー設置・ボルト固定を行いました。
職人の技が光る時間帯です。光と影の中で黙々と作業が進んでいきます。
Under the cover of night, our team focused on core drilling, chemical anchoring, and bolt setting.
This quiet nighttime atmosphere allowed our craftsmen to work with full concentration.

完成後、水を戻してみると…まるで水の上に浮かんでいるような美しい仕上がり！
昼間に見てもその存在感は抜群で、施設の意匠をより一層引き立てています。
Once the water was restored, the result was breathtaking—a flagpole standing gracefully above the water, perfectly aligned with the architectural design of the pavilion.

最終チェックのため、翌日昼間にも確認。
カタール国旗が堂々と掲げられている姿に、チーム一同ホッとしました。
We also inspected the site during the daytime.
Seeing the Qatar flag standing proud under the blue sky was the perfect reward for our hard work.
