【施工事例】学校のウッドデッキ補修工事｜生徒の安全を守るための早急な対応

今回は、学校のウッドデッキ補修工事に伺いました。

This time, we repaired a wooden deck at a school facility.

デッキの一部に傷みが見られ、このままでは生徒がつまずいたり、

ケガにつながる恐れがある状態でした。
学校や公共施設では、ほんの少しの段差や破損でも事故につながることがあるため

早めの対応がとても大切です。

Part of the deck was damaged, and from a safety perspective,
quick repair was necessary to protect the students.

◇ウッドデッキ補修は「見た目以上に手間がかかる」理由

今回のようなデッキ材は、傷んだ部分だけをポンと外せる構造ではありません。
基本的には、”端から順番に”外していく必要があるため、小さな補修に見えても

意外と作業工程が多くなります。
幸い、今回は端に近い部分だったためスムーズに交換できましたが、もし中央部が

傷んでいた場合は、さらに大掛かりな作業が必要になるところでした。

With this type of deck material, the damaged board cannot always be removed by itself.
In many cases, the boards must be removed in order from the edge,
which means even a small repair can take more time than expected.
Fortunately, the damaged area was close to the edge this time.
If it had been in the middle of the deck, the repair work would have become much larger.

◇屋外ならではの厄介ポイント

屋外のウッドデッキは、日常的に砂やほこりが入り込みます。
この砂が部材の隙間に詰まると、取外し作業の妨げになることもあります。
それでも一つひとつ状態を確認しながら慎重に作業を進め、

無事にきれいに補修を完了することができました。

Outdoor decks are also affected by sand, dust, and dirt that get into the gaps between materials.
These can make replacement work more difficult.
Even so, we carefully proceeded with the work and completed the repair neatly and safely.
