和歌山県で旗ポール建て隊が、旗ポールのロープ交換を行いました。

We replaced a flagpole rope in Wakayama.

今回ご相談いただいた現場では、旗ポールのロープのささくれが出始めており、
When the customer contacted us, the rope had already started to fray.
お客様から早めに交換したいとのご連絡をいただきました。
ロープが完全に切れてしまう前のタイミングだったため、地上で安全かつスムーズに交換作業を
行うことができました。
Because it was before the rope broke, we could replace it safely from the ground.

旗ポールのロープは、屋外で雨風や紫外線を受け続け少しずつ傷んでいきます。
Flagpole ropes slowly get damaged by wind, rain, and sunlight.
特に傷みやすいのは、旗を取り付ける金具のまわりやロープがこすれやすい部分です。
They get damaged especially around the fittings and where the ropes rub together.

次のような状態があれば、交換のサインです。
If you see the signs below, it may be time to replace the rope.

ロープにささくれが出ている/The rope is frayed.
部分的に細くなっている/Some parts look thinner.
以前より動きが重くなった/The rope moves less smoothly than before.

そのまま使い続けるとある日突然ロープが切れて、旗の上げ下げができなくなる恐れがあります。
早めに交換することでこうしたトラブルを防ぐことができます。
If you keep using it, the rope may suddenly break and you may not be able to raise or lower the flag.
Early replacement can prevent these problems.
